Backyard Makeover
For this project our client wanted a clean and easy to maintain landscaped space that will allow for his family and dogs to play and entertain with some added privacy from their neighbors. We started with completely gutting the existing space and starting over from scratch.
Privacy Fence & Gabion Rock Wall
The design changes we made to the outdoor space included a wood slat fence with a gabion rock wall which provided the privacy that was desired. We added plants to further add privacy and additional design element to the space. Low maintenance landscaping completes the look of the space and transforms this urban space into an outdoor oasis.
Artificial Grass and Stone Pavers
We chose artificial grass to decrease the amount of landscape maintenance and allow for a year round green space. We removed the existing tables and moved the seating area to underneath the veranda. The veranda will shelter the seating area from sun and rain. A trail of stepping stone pavers connects the front entrance to the seating area. A tall privacy fences blocks the views of neighbors and provides a noise barrier for your space. This private getaway is made to feel like you’ve taken a step away from the city into a relaxing outdoor oasis. What is more relaxing than a maintenance free lawn and privacy fence?
Veranda Seating Area
The seating area under the veranda is now equipped with a built-in grill, fireplace and a lounge area that is easily accessible through a common area inside of the house. The client can entertain their family and friends under a brand new veranda that overlooks the large low maintenance outdoor space.
